About Rita
My Yoga Journey
I started practicing yoga in 2007. I immediately formed an affection for this wellness practice. My mind, body and spirit have greatly benefited. Yoga has become a part of my daily life. I want to share this experience with others by instructing others through a Yoga practice.


Practice, Education, Experience

I had the pleasure of practicing different types of yoga - Iyengar (10+ years), Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Flow, Hatha, Restorative. I participated in yoga workshops and symposiums to strengthen my practice.

I earned my yoga instructor certification through Yogaspace in Toronto in the Spring of 2018.

I lead a weekly vinyasa/flow yoga practice for employees at ivari life insurance company (in person and online)

I taught vinyasa/flow and restorative yoga in an infrared setting at The Flying Yogi Studio (closed in May of 2022)

I am an instructor with Park Yoga Toronto since the summer of 2018. Refer to the Classes section of this site for details.
